Too bad that Moltke didn't manage to get his ideas for the war against France and Russia into his nephews head. Those could/would have been exactly the right ones for the situation in August 1914. But so Moltke (jnr.) went down as Moltke the lesser in history. By the way, Moltke (jnr.) grandson opposed the nazis and was involved in the plot of July 1944 and in either 1944 or 1945 the nazis killed him for that.
