Description

This is the KNIL (Dutch colonial forces) uniform regulation 1855-68.
:bulletgreen: The uniform from left to right:
- Infantry Full dress for soldier until corporal.
- Infantry Field dress. Furrier sharpshooter with 18 years service chevron.
- Infantry Small dress. Furrier. (EDIT: THERE'S NO SUCH UNIFORM EVER EXIST IN THE KNIL)
- Cavalry Full dress. "Brigadier" with 6 years service chevron.
- Cavalry Full dress. "Opperwachtmeester".
- Infantry Full dress. Sergeant with "voor moed en trouw" medal.
Anyway the other drawings is the eppaulette view from top. The left is for infantry from the rank sergeant until adjudant onderofficier (senior NCO). The right one is for the cavalry from the private until corporal.
The buggle, star and double square emblem is the rank designation emblem. Buggle for infantry, seven pointed star for cavalry, and double square for private and corporal. These emblem was used on the collar. And the other buggle drawing is the belt plate for infantry.
Also the drawing of the belt for the cavalryman.
I planned to put this drawing with the other 16 drawings for my book. :)

I'm really grateful for the help from my master. ~DrsRob :salute:

EDIT:
- THE RANK FOR THE FULL DRESS WAS SEWN IN BOTH SLEEVE.
- THE TRIPLE BUTTON ON THE CUFF WAS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FLAP NOT ON THE MIDDLE LIKE THE PRUSSIAN ARMY UNIFORM.
